Grundsätzlich war die Unterkunft den Fotos entsprechend und die Lage war für eine Erkundung Zagrebs ebenfalls gut.
Dennoch war zum Beispiel die Bequemlichkeit des Betts ausbaufähig und die Einstellung der Heizung war nur zwischen aus-heiß-sehr heiß. Insgesamt hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt und die Wohnung war sehr sauber.

After booking through the bnb app they force you to pay a deposit fee through a third party app and withhold checkin details until you do so. The place is also located in a dingy basement and the walls are paper thin, I could hear EVERYTHING the people in the adjacent room were doing. Very unprofessional to force fees in a third party app after I’d already paid through airbnb, I also had to provide extensive personal information in the deposit process. The only reason I paid this was because I arrived late at night, had already paid the standard reservation fee and had no where else to stay. I also complained to Airbnb about this and they seem to not be bothered. I am now at the mercy of this host as to whether or not I will receive my deposit back, which by the way was over double the amount I paid for the actual apartment reservation.

Die Lage war super, haben uns gefreut und dann ging es runter in den Keller, wo alles nach Feuchtigkeit gerochen hat. Da sind Codes und Anweisungen dabei wie man die Tür aufmacht jedoch braucht man diese Codes gar nicht, da sie eh nicht funktionieren, sondern einfach nur mit dem Schlüssel zugesperrt werden kann. Desweiteren konnte man das Fenster nicht aufmachen da kein Netz vorhanden war und davor ein Garten von anderen war. also neben dem Geruch der Feuchtigkeit auch absolut keine Privatsphäre. Das Bett ist eigentlich eine Schlafsofa, zwar schön aber auf Dauer sehr unbequem. Zusammenfassend ist die Unterkunft nicht für länger wie 2 Tage Aufenthalt geeignet.

Un logement agréablement situé à proximité de la gare ferroviaire. Il y a beaucoup d'humidité, mais un humidificateur sur place permet de réguler la situation. Nous avons quelques problèmes à l'arrivée, mais nous avons su nous débrouiller et l'hôte a été compréhensif. Commerce de proximité à quelques mètres, très pratique !

Het appartement ligt in een fijne buurt, alles was beloopbaar en ook het parkeren voor de deur was handig (en véél goedkoper dan de parkeerplaats vlakbij). Voor de prijs van de kamer was het een prima ruimte, maar er was een slaapbank in plaats van bed (kwam niet overeen met de foto’s) en de vloer was plakkerig. Als je gewoon de stad wil ontdekken dan is dit een perfecte ruimte, maar chillen in de kamer is eigenlijk niet te doen door de stank die er vooral na de regen vanuit het riool omhoog kwam.

Sehr simple Übernachtungsmöglichkeit, die ca. 10min von der Station Branimirova entfernt.
Ich bin kein regelmässiger Airbnb Nutzer, daher war es für mich sehr überraschend, dass unabhängig von der Buchung via Airbnb ein Sicherheitsdeposit von 150 Euro erwartet wurde. Ausserdem erhält man die Zugangcodes zum Zimmer auch erst dann, wenn man das Deposit eingezahlt hat.
Der Zugangscode wurde mir dann mitgeteilt, aber keine Anleitung, wo ich diesen Code eingeben muss. Weil die Eingangstüre zum Haus offen war, habe ich vergeblich versucht, die Zugangcodes beim Zimmer einzugeben, was nicht funktioniert hat. Ebenso wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt, welches der beiden Zimmer (1 oder 2) mir zugeteilt wurde.
Erst als ich beim Gastgeber nachgefragt habe (zum Glück war er sofort erreichbar, trotz später Stunde), erhielt ich eine Anleitung mit Bildern.
Enttäuschend war, dass das Zimmer leicht gestunken hat, es war ein ranziger Gestank. Das Bad hat keine Duschmittel, was nicht ideal ist.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying here while in Zagreb. I always got quick and informative responses about any questions I asked. The guidebook provided made check in such a breeze. Very cute place as well, felt so cozy and would absolutely recommend!

Cute little space and super clean. Location was great! Just beware that the bed is actually a makeshift one but was comfortable. The flat is in the basement so gets a bit humid and the window opens in an odd area. Apart from that its pretty nice and the check in process was good as well. Lovely stay!

This is a nice, clean room in a good location in Zagreb. The room is in the basement of an old building but the host has made a lot of efforts to make the room pleasant and welcoming. I appreciate the host’s goodwill. I will rent again this room in my future visits

The place seems to be smaller than in the photos. The place is stylishly done, but the feeling that you are underground is not worth the price in my opinion (again, hard to know based on the photos, but including an additional photo from the window view will make that obvious). Furthermore,the place has additional costs if you want to ask for a bit earlier checkin or later checkout which I haven’t seen in other airbnbs and it doesn’t feel in the spirit of a welcoming airbnb host. The host was highly responsive with the questions during the checkin.

Très bel appartement très bien situé dans Zagreb.
Aménagé en sous-sol avec une très belle entrée et une cuisine donnant sur un salon décoré avec soin. Tout l’équipement fonctionnait et était disponible.
Le ménage était impeccable. Nous avons pu tout faire à pied depuis l’appartement.

Le logement est décoré avec goût, confortable, sécurisé et très propre. Nous avons passé une nuit parfaite et reposante au calme avons de prendre notre avion. Le logement se trouve à quelques minutes du centre dans un quartier tranquille. Notre hôte a été très réactive et je l'en remercie. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés.

Very good location, walking distance to the lower and upper towns. Bed was super comfy and smart TV was a nice touch. Everything super clean, was a bit of a funny smell from the drains but nothing too terrible. Check-in was easy, just make sure you read the instructions sent. Thanks Kristina!

Beautiful little spot for a two person get away. Only stayed the night to catch our flight the next morning, it was a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy our last day. Everything was top notch and we felt so at home. My girlfriend twisted her ankle the morning of our stay so the only downside was that it’s not very handicap friendly due to all the stairs. So just keep that in mind if you have someone with you who’s not able bodied. We managed fine because I was able to carry her, but just a thought to take into consideration if you’re booking with someone handicap. Was lots of food places near by for me to be able to walk too and get food for us while she stayed and relaxed. Overall experience was great, definitely would book again!

super lækker lejlighed som ser luksuriøs ud. Dog lugter badeværelset af kloak under opholdet men det var til at holde ud da man bare lukkede døren derud og derfor kun skulle lugte det når man skulle på toilet eller i bad. vi blev lidt forvirret om vi var det rigtige sted da vi kom ind i opgangen til lejligheden da det slet ikke lignede sådan et sted de havde sådan en luksuriøs lejlighed.

The only negative thing I must mention is that we needed to make an early check in, as our flight landed early in the morning, we paid 25 euros for it, at first the host told me she would make sure everything was going to be ready for us to check in at 12 pm or even earlier, but next day when we landed in Zagreb I texted her again to ask what time we could check in and she said at 1 pm, when I told her that the day before she said we could check in at 12 she didn’t say anything about it.

The place was just like the pictures. Very walkable to the center of town. Only issue we had was there was not enough hot water and couldn’t take a full shower. You could only get about 2 min of hot water. We did reach out to the host and they were very responsive but the water heater never fully got up to temp.

Home’s place was perfect for me as a solo traveller. It felt very safe as there were many locks on doors. Although it did take me a second to figure out which key went where, so maybe some labelling would help.
The place itself was very clean and comfortable with good heating and plenty of amenities such as a tv, stove, kettle etc.
They were very kind and left some housewarming gifts which I was very grateful for.
The location was close to the train station so I didn’t have to walk far and the rest of the city was easily accessible.
Overall very positive 5/5, would recommend :)
